Just like painting and sculpture, food can be art too, an even more complete form of art since it can involve all senses. Therefore, we headed to Lisbon museums to find out how culinary art is being exposed to them. Here are 5 favorite spots of Taste of Lisboa to eat at when going on our art spree:
Restaurante Este Oeste at CCB
Located in one most contemporary buildings in Lisbon, this restaurant is famous for serving delicious wood-fired pizza and sushi. Their terrace offers the perfect setting for a tasty meal overlooking the Tagus river and the Monument of the Discoveries.

Museu do Oriente Restaurant
Also overlooking the Tagus river, this restaurant serves Asian specialties inspired by their oriental art collection. Mostly famous among Lisboners for their weekend brunches and lunch buffet during weekdays.

Pharmacia at Museu da Farmácia
Located right behind Santa Catarina viewpoint, this is a retro-designed, casual chic and tastefully decorated restaurant that serves petiscos (Portuguese tidbits) and Portuguese wine cocktails. Perfect for the sunset.

Cafetaria do Museu Calouste Gulbenkian – Colecção do Fundador
Serving a lunch menu by chef Miguel Castro Silva, one of the pioneers of modern Portuguese cuisine, this cafeteria also features a terrace facing the Gulbenkian Gardens, one of the most beautiful parks in Lisbon and one of our favorite hidden places to relax and escape from the city’s hustle and bustle, in its middle.

Flagrante Delitro at Casa Fernando Pessoa
Inspired by the greatest Portuguese poet of the 20th century, Fernando Pessoa, this restaurant is dedicated to serve traditional Portuguese dishes. Ideal either for a meal or for a tea time snack, both indoor or outside in it is cool and cozy terrace.
